For over forty years, Pastosa’s Eltingville location has been managed by the De Rosa family, who are a third generation provider of Italian specialties. The De Rosa family has been with the Pastosa franchise since 1974 when they first managed, the now nonoperational, Valley Stream, Long Island Pastosa location.
In 1979 they moved to the budding town of Eltingville, one block away from the Eltingville train station, in Staten Island. Locals now had the convenience of purchasing ravioli, manicotti, stuffed shells, fresh mozzarella and sauces all made fresh on premises. In recent years, the Eltingville location has made efforts to meet the growing needs of the community by expanding their product line and now offer a full service meat department, prepared foods, imported groceries, produce, and much more.
